Making the most out of your Treatments
Acupuncture works best by building off each treatment. There are typically three main phases of care: Relief Care, Corrective Care, and Wellness Care. Recommended amount of sessions are discussed during the initial treatment.
- Relief Care:
The goal is to find you relief from your most intense symptoms. Recommended treatments are typically 2-3 visits per week.
- Corrective Care:
Now is the time to retrain your body to a new way of functioning in order to have lasting relief results. This course of treatment tends to be every 7-10 days until your body has corrected itself and found balance again.
- Wellness Care:
The phase that acupuncture was designed to do best – keep you well and used as prevention to strengthen your body against future disease and imbalance. Wellness care treatments are once every 1-2 months.
When symptoms have not returned and you are feeling your greatest, it is recommended to come in for a touch up acupuncture treatment every change of season for maintenance. Your health and wellness is an investment, not an expense.
