What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy utilizes the principle of hypnosis, which allow the subconscious mind to express itself. Hypnosis is a natural trance state of mind, which actually occurs to us multiples times during the day. For example when you read a book, and are so comfortable simply being that you eventually realise you remember nothing of what you just read. You remember your eyes skimming the words, but the details that filled the pages simply aren’t there. Or when you’re driving home from work, and suddenly, you’ve driven right past your house! Those states are mind are parallel with that of hypnosis. Hypnotherapy has been used in many forms, including pain management, losing weight, childbirth, coping with trauma and grief, finding inner peace, personal growth, overcoming phobias, accelerated healing, smoking cessation, and has many other applications. With an open mind, and dedication, the possibilities are endless.
