What to expect on your first visit

A thorough, 90-minute assessment
Your first appointment is a 90-minute assessment. We take your health history, discuss your lifestyle and past treatments, perform any necessary exams, and develop a personalised, evidence-based plan. Lab tests may be recommended or results requested.

We listen, then act
We focus on what matters to you and provide clear next steps — whether that’s a plan, supplements, referrals, or follow-ups.

Before you arrive

• Complete any intake forms sent via Jane (our online booking system) before your appointment.
• Bring a list of current medications or supplements (with doses), any recent lab or imaging reports, and a short list of questions.
• Arrive about 10 minutes early for check-in.

Pricing — Initial visits (first visits only)

Naturopathic Medicine — First Visit (90 minutes): $315
Homeopathic Medicine — First Visit (90 minutes): $270
Pediatric — Naturopathic First Visit (60 minutes): from $180 (varies by practitioner)
Osteopathy — First Visit (60 minutes): Adult $145 · Pediatric $125

Booking and cancellations

Booking your appointment
You can book your appointment online directly through our Jane booking site.

Our cancellation policy
We kindly ask for at least 72 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Please call our office by noon on Friday to cancel a Monday appointment.
Missed or late-cancelled appointments are subject to a 50% fee.

If you are feeling unwell or experiencing flu-like symptoms, we can easily switch your appointment to a telemedicine phone or video visit.
If your appointment is for acupuncture, osteopathy, or massage therapy, please reschedule — no fee will be charged in these cases.

What is a Naturopathic Doctor?
A Naturopathic Doctor (ND) is medically trained and utilises natural therapies, identifying root causes and creating personalised treatment plans.

Why are initial consultations 90 minutes?
Ninety minutes allows time for a detailed health history, examination (if needed), and a thoughtful, personalised treatment plan — without rushing to address your concerns.

Does my extended health insurance cover the first visit?
Many extended health plans include naturopathic and osteopathic services. Coverage varies, so please confirm with your benefits provider.

Does provincial health insurance cover naturopathic care?
Naturopathic care is not covered by Manitoba’s provincial health plan.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our policy requires 72 hours’ notice and charges a 50% fee for missed visits.

After your first visit

You’ll leave with a clear plan and any necessary prescriptions, referrals, or testing orders.
If we recommend supplements, we’ll explain how to use them and what to expect.

Please note: All supplement and medicine sales are final for health and safety reasons.

To continue your care, please book a follow-up appointment either at the reception desk or through our online booking site.
Your practitioner will inform you of the best time for your next visit.

Illness and virtual appointments

We continue to offer both in-person and telemedicine appointments for your comfort and safety.
If you’re feeling unwell or prefer to stay home, your practitioner can meet with you by phone or video instead.
Medicines and supplements can be picked up at the clinic, arranged for curb-side pick-up, or delivered upon request.
