Dr. Heather Cardona, HD is a Doctor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences and the founder and Clinic Director of Via Natural Medicine, established in 2016 in St. Boniface, Winnipeg. Via Natural Medicine brings together expert Naturopathic Doctors, an Osteopathic practitioner, and a network of referring healthcare professionals united by a single priority: the client’s needs, first.
Dr. Cardona holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg with a double major in Biochemistry and Chemistry, and completed three years of research in the Biochemistry department testing the single-enzyme activity of high-dilution solutions through capillary electrophoresis. It was her background in quantum chemistry that drew her to Homeopathy — specifically, to its understanding of biological reactions at sub-molecular activity levels. She went on to complete a four-year natural medical program at the Manitoba College of Homeopathic Medicine, graduating as a Doctor of Homeopathic Medical Sciences in 2006.
Her clinical practice focuses on pediatrics, digestive health, hormone balance, healthy immune function, and nervous system health, drawing on a broad range of modalities including Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Nutritional Therapy, Food Sensitivity Testing, Lifestyle Counselling, and Vitamin/Mineral Therapies.
Beyond her practice, Dr. Cardona is a dedicated advocate for Homeopathic Medicine in Manitoba. She has served as President of the Manitoba Homeopathic Association and currently holds the position of Vice-President. She has also partnered with the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine (OCHM) to bring their accredited certificate and diploma programs to Manitoba students, offering live instruction, mentorship, and clinical preceptorship opportunities through Via Natural Medicine.
Dr. Cardona is passionate about the healing process and committed to advancing the understanding and practice of Homeopathic Medicine in her community.
